ADHD Community of Practice:
Joyfully Linking Goals to Practical Reality
Join in shared learning with other women to build skills, recognize gifts and increase confidence in living well!
Six bi-weekly sessions, Tuesdays from March 24 - June 2, 2026
What it is
Growth happens through connection, not isolation. A Community of Practice (CoP) is a group of people who share a common concern, set of problems, or passion. A CoP focuses on collective learning. Members share stories, tools, and experiences to get better at what they do, while feeling supported and holding themselves accountable to their commitments; there is value in shared learning:
Validation: Reducing the "shame spiral" by seeing others face similar hurdles.
Shared Wisdom: Greater access to important knowledge while learning through shared experiences for practical application and emotional support.
Safe & Practical Growth: A space to practice new habits and navigate obstacles without the fear of judgment.
Who it’s for
Specifically for women with ADHD. This includes those diagnosed, self-identified, or those simply looking for better ways to manage executive functions in a world not built for our brains.
Adulthood is a place we’ve been conditioned to believe that our efforts in checking boxes will result in settling into ourselves. Unfortunately, for those of us with ADHD symptoms, the square peg trying to fit into a round hole doesn’t go away, and the added responsibilities of managing a career, household, budgets, relationships and children often results in overwhelm and exhaustion.
While you’ve already explored strategies and tried to fit in, this format focuses on augmenting your unique gifts and finding the right practical interventions to make life more manageable, shared with other women having similar struggles. Learning in a community allows us to feel less isolated and supported in the inevitable meandering path.
What it looks like
The structure of six bi-weekly sessions over three months is designed to create connection amongst members, build skills in executive functioning, help us feel more grounded and be proud of the gifts our neurodivergent brains bring to the world. A lead facilitator will guide the process, share resources and synthesize progress into a practical resource for sustainability.
Location: All sessions will take place at De la Sol Yoga Studios at 430 York Blvd, Hamilton
Session Dates: Tuesdays, 7-9 | March 24; Apr 7; Apr 21; May 5; May 19; June 2
Cost: $300 +HST
About the facilitator
Fellow DSL yogi, Tanja Roglic is a passionate champion of individual and collective development. Early in her career a colleague gently joked that she has ADHD, resulting in the shameful response of her ‘fighting’ it for many years. In 2023 Tanja read a journal that changed her perceptions and she has since embraced a path to healthier living with ADHD.
Given the prevalence of diagnosis and symptoms, Tanja’s intent in facilitating this community of practice is to leverage shared learning, build confidence in skills and self, and ultimately broaden the community of those living positive lives with ADHD. Tanja pairs her lived experience and many years of supporting ADHD youth with her people development expertise in leading individuals and collectives, as a complement to therapeutic interventions. The goal of the group is to joyfully link goals to practical realities.
